River to River Relay Photos:
Congratulations to our 2015 RIVER-TO-RIVER TEAMS - (Lisle Windrunners and A-Train). A-Train finished 5th and the Windrunners were soaked by the rain.
The Lisle Windrunners running club was established in 1985 to serve regular runners in the western suburbs of Chicago. Our mission is to promote a lifetime of fitness with a level of competition when desired. Currently, there are 50+ individual members, both men and women with ages ranging from 25 to 82. The club sponsors regular training runs, a Windrunner racing circuit, one 10K race, monthly meetings, an annual awards & predictor breakfast, and relay teams for the annual River-to-River relay race in southern Illinois. Many of our members also compete in other circuits (CARA and Fox River mainly) with race distances ranging from 5K to marathons.
JOIN: Printable Application to join the club - only $20/year per family unit.
